Be Healed of Bipolar Disorder
Bipolar Disorder – Why Hasn’t God Healed Me?
Many Christians with bipolar disorder have grappled with the question, "Why hasn’t God healed me?" For some, it causes them to question their faith. Others have even turned away from God altogether because he hasn’t healed their bipolar disorder.
Let’s consider this question in light of what we expect of God:
We expect him, first of all, to love us. The Bible says, "We love, because he first loved us."(1Jn.4:19) and – probably the most famous verse of all -"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (Jn. 3:16KJV)

We also expect God to care about us. "Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you." 1Pet.5:7KJV), and "He cares for those who trust in him." (Nah.1:7NIV) These verses tell us that he cares about us; therefore, God cares about you and your bipolar disorder.
We expect God to take care of us. Psa.91:11KJV tells us, "For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone." If God is concerned whether you stub your toe, don’t you think he cares about your bipolar disorder? I’m not trying to be funny – I really believe that’s what it means.
We expect God to be there when we pray (call upon him) – and so he promises, "He shall call upon me, and I will answer him…" (Psa.91:15KJV). Ok, so you’ve prayed to God about healing your bipolar disorder, but he hasn’t answered your prayers; however, the Scriptures never tell you how or when he will answer your prayers.
Associated Behavior of Bipolar Disorder…
God said he would love you, care about you, take care of you, and be there when you call upon him, but he never said he would heal you of your bipolar disorder.
Here’s the thing, though: God does answers all prayers – sometimes the answer is, "Yes," sometimes the answer is, "No," and sometimes the answer is, "Wait,"
I’m not saying that God will NOT heal your bipolar disorder. Obviously, he has not healed your bipolar disorder YET, but he has given doctors the ability to help you manage your disorder now.
There is a saying that is appropriate to quote here: "Nothing, absolutely nothing, happens in God’s world by mistake."
